DICTATION:
The island's raison d'etre as an escape from modern commercialism will never be the off-the-beaten-track pristine escape it once was, but if you haven't been there, you won't know the difference. The fine white sand is still dazzling, the sea the same luminescent shade of turquoise, and the tall palms that shade the beach a familiar tropical luxuriant green. As possibly the best beach in the world, a paradise not lost but in transition, it still has a down-to-earth ambience and a touch of romantic adventurism, with everything you need to go along with the plentiful sun, sea, sand, and overall tranquility.W.T.H!!this is only 1 of the 2 long passages we have to memorise! poor 3L1.. :(
another 1 is:
To discover how Cape Town got its name, head to the southernmost tip of the city, Cape of Good Hope-a spectacular peninsula hugged by dramatic crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean. As you scale your way to the summit at Cape Point, the high altitude pierces your ears and the strong cold winds send you into unstable delirium. At the top, you'll see the most powerful lighthouse in the world.DOUBLE W.T.H!! :{THE BEST THING IS, ONLY 1 OF THEM IS TESTED AND WE HAVE TO MEMORISE BOTH AND ITS TESTED THIS THURSDAY!! TRIPLE W.T.H!!! :< sad...
